AHS BAND: The Pride of Albuquerque!
News Updates:
*The AHS Marching Band invited to 2011 National Independence Day Parade in Washington D.C
* The AHS Symphonic Band gets a Superior rating on stage and in sight-reading at Large Group Festival! Way to go band!
*AHS Jazz Band 1 gets straight 1s at the UNM Jazz festival and earned a Superior rating award.
*AHS Bass player Sam Brown was chosen as the Best Overall Musician of Festival. Daniel Villanueva, Marcello Torres Dos Reis, Brandon Chapman and Michael Goldstein all received superior solo awards! Congrats!
*The "Juxtaposition" Winter Guard takes 1st place at the Manzano Invitational! Go Guard!
