11th place in preliminaries!

2009 Zia Marching Band Fiesta 10/17/09
First time ever that the AHS band has made it to finals! 8th place overall in finals!!

2009 Pageant of Bands Competition 10/7/09
1st Place in Class AAAA
Outstanding Woodwinds in Class AAAA
Outstanding Auxiliary/Flags in Class AAAA

 

The Albuquerque High School band had 10 members selected for New Mexico All-State, 7 members for Jazz All-State and 3 for American Southwest Honor Band! Keep up the good work!
