Fundraising and donations keep the Albuquerque High School Mighty Bulldog Band program strong! Every dollar goes directly toward band expenses not covered by Albuquerque Public School District or Albuquerque High School. Such as like music drills and sheets, instrument repair, support staff such as Marching Auxiliary teacher, an any teacher that is needed for one-on-one individual teaching, transportation, printing needs for the band, competition entrance fees, and finical aid for band students who are unable to pay fees.
Our program, the Albuquerque High School Band Boosters, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. If you itemize deductions on your federal income tax return, your donation to our program may qualify for an income tax deduction in accordance with federal and/or state income tax laws. The Internal Revenue Service allows you to deduct the fair market value of in-kind donations that are in good used condition or better to qualified charitable organizations. Fair market value is defined as the price an item would sell for on today’s market. Only donors can determine fair market value of the goods and services they choose to donate.
